In his own words...
Some years ago my wife and I had our evening meal in a restaurant on what is called the northshore of Massachusetts. Of course, if you check a globe or map youll see that the pilgrims needed a compass; it should have been called the eastshore as its on the east end of the rectangle/hook we call the Commonwealth of Mass. In any event, the menu our waitress gave us was hand-lettered with shapes that I used to develop the four fonts called Jorge (pronounced hor-hay).
