Shortly after completing the design for ITC Fontoonies No. 1, a collection of cartoon characters, designer Steve realized that a companion text typeface was needed. And what better model than the characters he had been drawing for years inside the bubbles of his cartoon metropolis – the images giving voice to the well-populated world of Fontoonies?
ITC Fontoon is the inviting, highly legible text typeface that resulted from Steve’s decision to teach his Fontoonies their ABCs. You’ll also find ITC Fontoon included in the ITC Toonies Family.
